Time for another gingerbread flavored treat. I shared last Friday, on my Gingerbread Quinoa post about how much I loved the flavors in gingerbread. So, you probably knew I wouldn’t stop at just one! This one incorporates another flavor not often paired with gingerbread.
I had a chocolate bar a few years ago that was filled with crispy bits of “gingerbread” toffee. It was perhaps the best chocolate I have ever had, and I have not found it since. But, even while I haven’t been able to enjoy THAT again, it made me realize that chocolate could indeed be paired up with more then just vanilla OR peppermint.
Bye bye mental chocolate box! Let’s bring on the spices. Cinnamon, ginger, and chocolate is a delicious trio that I love finding new ways to use.
