If I were to give two tips on how to make feeding real nourishing foods for your family doable it would be this:
1. Plan what you will eat
2. Write out what you plan, including prep.
I was so excited to finally have a printer, and get to print out menu templates just to see that there weren’t any that would allow me to write out all the prep I needed to do.
The simple act of writing out “Tuesday – thaw chicken, soak beans, and soak oatmeal” is a huge step in taking a plan from theory to reality.
While I am not a graphic designer, I set out to make one for me that I really liked and thought I’d share with you as well. I write out the meals in the each’s day rectangle, then have plenty of space on the right to write out notes and prep. You can print it here.
